Washington, D.C. — The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) announced the new “Sustaining Membership” benefits with introductory dues rates to make it easier for engineering and construction companies to become familiar with ISI’s Envision sustainable infrastructure rating system.
The new Sustaining Membership includes one free Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) credential training and testing package (a $550 member value) to new members. This applies to companies that have at least one employee credentialed in the Envision tool. Each qualifying company will be given a complimentary listing on the ISI website as an “Envision Qualified Company,” with a link to the company website. The Sustaining Membership also includes an affordable dues schedule.
While announcing the new Sustaining Membership program, ISI Chairman Terry Neimeyer noted that to date more than 2,200 industry professionals have earned the Envision credential, and that municipalities, utilities and state agencies across North America are using Envision to plan civil infrastructure projects.
“Making the Envision infrastructure rating system more available to the private sector companies that include public sector organizations in their client base is good business, and serves the public interest with more sustainable infrastructure,” Neimeyer said.
More Sustaining Membership information on the new program is available under the “Join ISI” tab of the ISI website www.sustainableinfrastructure.org.
