Screw-driving system
The Quik Drive BGP300 auto-feed screw-driving system — the first tool from Simpson Strong-Tie to feature belt collation — fastens metal roofing and siding with hex-head screws and washers. It has multiple profile guides to match a variety of panel profiles. The feeder on the BGP300 senses when a screw is present and will not advance the belt until that screw is driven. The collated fastener belts also can be loaded in either direction for easier operation.

Marketing/management guidebook
DIRECTIONS2: Strategic Management & Marketing for A/E/C Business Development by Richard K. Rodgers is an expanded second edition of the original 2004 title, which provided owners, CEOs, and management partners of AEC firms with a roadmap for setting their firms’ strategic direction. The book provides easy-to-understand terminology, guidance, directions, principles, processes, techniques, worksheets, and an AEC Business Development Process schematic to help firms capture more projects and build better client relationships.

Customer relationship management software
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, the cloud version of the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 release, now is available. The software gives business professionals access to customer information through a familiar Microsoft Outlook experience, which helps ensure rapid user adoption and fast results. Also, it gives companies the same CRM software delivered as a cloud service from Microsoft, enabling instant-on anywhere access, predictable pay-as-you-go pricing, and a financially backed service level agreement.
