Post-installed mechanical anchors
Simpson Strong-Tie recently received a new Evaluation Report through ICC-ES ESR-3037, which features the next-generation Strong-Bolt 2 anchor tested in accordance with ICC-ES Acceptance Criteria for Mechanical Anchors in Concrete Elements (AC 193) for post-installed mechanical anchors for use in cracked and uncracked concrete. This evaluation report is in compliance with the 2009, 2006, and 2003 International Building and Residential Codes and includes the Strong Bolt 2 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, and 5/8-inch diameter carbon steel and 3/8-inch-diameter stainless steel anchors, all of which are Category 1.
