In February, an estimated 2,000 civil engineers, contractors, developers, and government personnel will "Connect to Solutions" in Reno, Nev., during the world’s largest soil and water event. Environmental Connection (EC09) is the annual conference and expo of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA). With world-class education, the largest expo hall of its kind featuring more than 160 products and services from around the globe, and new networking events, EC09 is the one-stop to help businesses survive and even thrive in difficult economic times.
To help ease the financial impact of attendance, IECA has implemented new registration options for EC09 that make full-conference participation more affordable than ever. For one flat rate, conference attendees will have access to the expo hall, half-day courses, Monday’s field tour, technical presentations, and conference activities—including special tours—for the entire conference. This full-conference registration also will include all lunches and the Expo Hall Grand Opening Celebration. Full-day training courses will be available at an additional cost. "We feel that one flat price for the basic registration will help reduce the impact that conference delegates in many areas are feeling from the economic slowdown," said Russell Adsit, IECA executive director.
